Long day

Morning announcements for an hour, ASVAB test for 3 hours, history for 40 minutes, lunch for half an hour, calc for an hour and a half, band for an hour and a half, helping Steven record his government video so I can edit it for him cause I don't like saying no for half an hour, working on homecoming video for an hour and a half, and now I'm home. And tired. And competition day tomorrow. Last one... uh... yah. I'm gonna get some food and then watch TV and go sleep, I think...

Spent about 5 hours on it so far. All I have left is the final watch and fix... so I'll estimate maybe 6 hours total on editing. Not to mention cinematography, which took maybe 3 hours. French videos aren't much worth doing anything. Specially not for these pieces of crud. If only I knew how to animate... I'd be willing to spend the time for me... I'm a little tired, don't mind me. Good thing I have time tomorrow morning for the rest of my homework. Including putting this stupid thing onto Eniac 2 and copying it onto a tape...

That's all I have to say. And I don't mean the Japanese one ; ). So yesterday we had band practice, and it was rather tiring. All my shoulder muscles hurt a lot right now, and other ones too, but not as badly. Mark ran basics... and apparently we need to build up our stamina... so we did 8s and 8s across the field, ran a lap, reset back to the other end of the field, did 8s and 8s at a different tempo, ran another lap, reset again, then did boxes 1-4 twice through. Very tiring. Then we got a water break, then went back to basics for star exercise. And I conduct backfield twice now, and I get all tired getting back there the second time cause I have to walk really fast, I barely make it so I like run up the ladder, then I jump off (not really) and go back in as fast as I can because it's really close to the end of the show... yep! Anyway, I'm doing french, which is why I'm on cause I need the translator cause I don't have a dictionary. So yeah. I'm trying to defrag my drive but it's taking a really long time :P

Today was the choir festival thing, it was pretty fun. There were 4 schools there, Us, Leigh, some school from santa cruz? and Los Gatos, it was at Los Gatos high... they have an awesome campus. It's like a college... it's really cool : ). And I got to see one of my bio friends today... he's freakishly tall. And had black nail polish on, I guess it's part of the clarinet's uniform for band or something, since their gloves are cut off too. I dunno. Anyway, so I got back, went to CSF meeting, then had english... then worked on french video til about 5... and now I'm home ^_^. I'm hecka tired...

I'd like to go one day of being online (because I always am when I'm at home) without being asked for a homework assignment. I really don't think that's too much to ask. But for now, I'll just refrain from going on AIM cause I'm sick and tired of being the backup homework giver.

We have a band competition tomorrow.. I really hope we do well. I don't think we will though, our drill's too new. We just learned the last part on Wednesday, and the last set's an arc. Supposedly, anyway. I want us to place :(. I've never seen us place because it started going poorly the year my class came in... It gets old quick. Not that placing matters, but we could do so much better if people actually cared... Well, don't mind me, I'm a little tired. I got woken up from my nap today from a phone call, and it was really static-y. I guess I was saying "I can't hear you!" in chinese or something, cause I was really tired. That's what my mom says, cause she was standing there... I've been speaking chinese more often, maybe that's why I reverted back to it when not all there. Oh, and happy birthday to Huy for tomorrow... Aand.. I need to archive but I'm too lazy. So I won't. Oh, and we took band pictures today. It was really annoying, took a long time, and the drum line is full of idiots. Michael S. almost fainted, too, so we had to get off right before the guy took the picture so that Michael could get onto the ground. Well, upside is that band practice doesn't start till 10 tomorrow. Downside? Well, my alarm is a 12 hour clock, so I can't set it for 8 without it going off... Even though I'll probably wake up at 7ish anyway, I want the backup set :P. Anyway. Me stop now or I'll just keep typing and typing... I miss the way things used to be, too. And I hope Huy'll be okay :(. Okay, yah. Anyway. Uh... meep.

Okay, so yesterday I woke up at 7:15ish, showered, called Court at 7:40 or so after my parents woke up and before I found out it was sunday morning, not sunday evening, found out, got called back from Court cause I didn't get through the first time, decided to go to the AIDS walk, got out of the house at 8:25, picked up by Jeff around 8:35, went to downtown SJ with Jeff and Court, walked the shortcut for AIDS walk (5K instead of 10K), we hung around for a little afterwards, went to Target, saw Martina and her family, then Jeff dropped me and Court off at her house, we watched Tarzan, talked, then part of Ghostbusters, then went over to Baker school to touch up the maps that Theresa was doing for a project, spend like 3 hours there (3-6), Juli and Jeff showed up along the way, I went back to Court's house with her, and then we went over to Juli's house at 7:30, where we watched the addams family with Court, Juli, Jeff, and Ryan, and David was on the couch playing Diablo 2 and listening to the world series and giving us updates. Giants lost :P. Aand.. then I went home at 9:55 or so (since I told my parents before 10 : ) Then I stayed for an hour and a half talking to Alice and Huy online... and that's it ^_^. Now I'm up and haven't done calc or french, but I don't understand the french homework anyway. So yeah.

Anyway, we did our show today at the football game, and it was pretty good, I didn't mess up conducting, either. The only thing that sucked was the in the prospect crowd (cause I conduct back field), there was some idiot yelling to the cheerleaders "kick the ladder! kick the ladder!" You know, the ladder I was standing on. Ah well. My feet hurt : ).

6.75! Let's see if I can wake up tomorrow : ). I have the funkiest sleep schedule. It's either sleep the whole day, sleep for half the day, or sleep just a little ^_^. Either way! My own fault this time, I didn't even have homework to do, I finished at like 9:30 for once : ). Or maybe it was 10, I don't remember. ANYway... uh... yah. Meep! La la la. Have a very haunting-sounding song stuck in my head. It's pretty though, and it's hard to sing ^_^. Accidentals! So far in choir, we've only gotten through the first page or so. Only two pages long though. Anyway, the point is, it's kinda hard but it's pretty and that I talk a lot when I'm tired but I'm not really tired otherwise I'd be sleeping instead of wasting my time on here. But I'm tired, which is why I'm going to sleep. Get the point? Bye!

The only problem is that it changes 3/4 to 4/4 or the other way 4 times so far... so I have to memorize the key signatures :P Oh yeah, I also totally spaced today and forgot Hey! we're marching, so I wore open toed shoes to band... I'd advise against it for Wednesday night practices. The grass was freezing :P. But that's okay, cause Yeffy brought me my shoes : ). Oh, and I also hit three curbs coming out of my driveway today. The last one wasn't even a hit, it was kind of a... run over and keep going type of thing. Cause I was trying to turn my headlights off.... yeah anyway, calc homework awaits : )

So yeah, I just had a bubble bath, and it was draining really slowly, so I figure if I move the water around a little, it'll go faster, right? So I want to get this tub thing, but it's on the side of the tub that is separated by water, and I'm already dressed. So I figure I'll put my leg on the step and it'll prevent me from falling into the tub. So I throw my leg across, and me being short (mostly cause of my short legs), I miss by an inch or so and my whole leg plunges into the water ^_^. Yep, that's all. Back to my book! My pants leg is wet :P

So I was drinking water, right, and I kinda choked. So I was about to cough it up, but there are people on both sides of me and I don't want to just spew it across the table, so I turn around but I can't get out cause there are people next to me, so I just fall down backwards onto the ground and coughed it out ^_^. Hee hee... and a warmup we did in choir today: "Laughing is contagious and it's adventageous ha ha ha ha ha hoo hoo hoo hoo hoo ho ho ho ho ho hee hee hee hee hee"... and on another note, I want to go see the weakest link but I have nobody to go with.. and it's too late anyway. Mr. Bowen and Mr. Evans are going today, I want to see them ^_^. Ah well.

Just got home.. watched "Hello, Dolly" and then some drum corps stuff and then just talked for a while. Figuratively speaking, I'm 16 years old now : ). Figuratively speaking because I was born around 6 PM today... So techincally, I did get to do something with my friends on my birthday ; ). Only about 15 minutes of though ^_^. And not all of them... just Court, Jeff and Juli!
